The island of Sikinos is one of the smaller Cycladic islands and it is situated on the south part of the complex, between Ios and Folegandros. Sikinos still remains a picturesque and quiet island, somehow forgotten in relation to the other islands of the complex. The modern city of Sikinos, called Chora, is located at the eastern part of the island. Houses made of stone, low benches with blooming flower-beds, winding cobblestone streets and white washed stairways. The Chora of Sikinos is clambered on the slope of a hill and consists two settlements, the Castle and Chorio. In the heart of the Castle is located the church of Pantanassa with the miraculous icon of Virgin Mary, said that have arrived by itself from Crete. In Chorio, you will meet the old olive mill where the Popular museum is housed while at the top of the hill is situated the monastery of Zoodohos Pigi, from where you can have a majestic view of the Aegean.
4 km southeast of Chora is situated Allopronia, a small maritime village, the one and only harbor of the island. From here you can explore the island and its beaches by craft.
The ancient past of the island is to be met in Episkopi, within a distance of 4 km from Chora. There, in an imposing rocky landscape stands the church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary, located in the exact place where the ancient Greek temple of the Pithio Apollo once stood. In the same area, ancient Sikinos, a colony of the Ions, was located. |

| Pantanassa’s festival on the 27th of March. Also festivals of the monastery of Zoodohos Pigi and Panagia’s church on the 15th of August. The festival of Isodia of Theotokos on 21 of November. |

| At Allopronia’s beach, or from there by craft to many other beaches of the island. At Saint Nikolas, Dialiskari, Santorineika, Saint George, Saint Panteleimonas, at Agios Ioannis with the green sea or at the north side of the islan at Malta’s beach. |
